Star Wars: The Force Awakens
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is one of the biggest movies ever. It came after many years without a new Star Wars movie.
Some old fans didn’t like the movies before it, so everyone was waiting to see if this one would be good. When it finally came, people were very happy. It had new heroes, new bad guys, and also some old friends from the past.
That’s why many people say this movie brought Star Wars back to life.
Making Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Disney and Lucasfilm made a brand-new Star Wars story that excited people about the future. At the same time, it reminded fans of the old movies they loved. The movie needed a lot of creativity, and director J.J. Abrams and Disney CEO Bob Iger worked very hard to make it great.
In an interview, Abrams and Iger talked about making the film:
Abrams: Making this movie was really fun. We worked together a lot.
Iger: That’s nice to hear.
Abrams: No, it’s true!
Iger: I remember when we had dinner and talked about this movie. It cost about $4 billion!
Abrams: I remember thinking, “Oh my God, $4 billion for a movie!”
Iger: It was a big responsibility. It was not just any movie—it was very important because so many people loved Star Wars.
Making this movie was hard, but they wanted it to be special for fans old and new.
